Bathe in Glory

Bath and Shower

Reducing your waste doesn’t mean you have to give up your bath and shower pampering routine. In fact, you'll love the elegant look of your bathroom after ditching the plastic!

That bright pink shower puff may look cute in your shower, but any dermatologist will tell you they're not a good idea. The plastic netting is like a wild swingers party for bacteria (or you know... the equivalent of that in medical terms), and they need to be discarded after 2 months.

So when you're scrubba-dub-dubbing in the bathtub, use an old-fashioned wash cloth, or a natural bath brush instead. It will leave you much cleaner, and save the landfill space!

Lather up the old-school way! Use luxurious soaps rather than plastic bottles of shower gel. Why pay for wasteful water and plastic bottles? There are so many options for luxurious pampering soaps - try a few and you’ll quickly find a favourite!

One of the best ways to relax and soothe your muscles in the bath is by dissolving Epsom salts - just ask your physio. Many studies have shown the wide-ranging benefits of magnesium and sulphate, the two major components of Epsom salt.
